Biennial Caucus Meeting & Election Information

Texas Stonewall Democrats hold a biennial membership meeting during the Texas Democratic Party Convention to elect officers, receive reports, and conduct organizational business. All credentialed attendees at the convention meeting may vote; members attending other meetings must be current on dues to vote.

Election Procedures

The election of officers will take place in-person on

Friday, June 26, 2026 @ 9:15 am

In Watergarden B

Election procedures will be as follows:

Voting will take place via paper ballot.
Delegates will receive ballots upon arrival at the caucus meeting.
Rank-choice voting will be utilized.
In the interest of time campaign speeches can now be viewed online at texasstonewall.com/election. We will not have floor speeches.
Election Administrator will recognize the Self nominated candidates
As per our bylaws, candidates can be nominated from the floor.
Tellers from the Texas democratic Party will count the ballots.
All convention delegates are eligible to vote.
