#3 - Do you support protecting the civil rights of all Texans regardless of race, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity?
#4 - Will you refuse campaign contributions from organizations whose primary mission is to strip LGBTQ+ Texans of their civil rights?

#5 - Do you oppose laws that target transgender people for discrimination?
#6 - Do you support equal access to health care regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity?
#7 - Do you support expanding access to voting?
#8 - Will you work with Texas Stonewall & LGBTQ+ organizations when developing policies that affect the community?
#9 - Do you support equal treatment of LGBTQ+ individuals in the justice system?
#10 - If endorsed, do you agree to notify Texas Stonewall Democrats before changing your position on any major LGBTQ+ issue?

Candidates seeking State, County or Federal office in areas that are not served by a local Stonewall Democrats chapter may request an endorsement from Texas Stonewall Democrats. To respect the autonomy of our affiliated organizations, Texas Stonewall Democrats does not issue endorsements in jurisdictions where a local Stonewall chapter has an established endorsement process.

Candidates who have already been endorsed by their local Stonewall Democrats chapter are welcome to include Texas Stonewall Democrats as an additional endorsement in their campaign literature and communications. If you intend to do so, please email info@texasstonewall.com so we can verify your endorsement and provide any necessary branding or logo usage guidelines.

All candidates seeking an endorsement from Texas Stonewall Democrats must complete the questionnaire below. The Endorsement Committee will review each application and submit its recommendations to the Board of Directors. At the Board's discretion, candidates may be invited to participate in an interview before a final recommendation is made. All endorsements are considered and voted on by the Texas Stonewall Democrats Board of Directors.
